On the lower level there are showers, the central plateau lakes, toilets and a guest laundry.mountainside is close to liffey falls, meander falls and only 55-minutes' drive from either launceston or devonport. Mountainside has a function complex with an open fireplace, a commercial-size kitchen that can cater for 50 people or more and a dormitory accommodating up to 12 people. There is a bunkhouse that sleeps eight people and another cabin appointed with a queen-size bed, polished floor, thermostat heater and a porch. A smaller family cabin offers an open fireplace and a deck, suitable for up to four people. There are two large family cabins, one with a combustion heater, accommodating up to six or seven guests.
