After a hearty breakfast, from provisions in the modern kitchen, wander around westbury and soak up the decades of history and the tranquillity of the town. Memorabilia in the house represents milestones in the making of a new life in a new country. It was their home for many generations and their furniture is still there. There is a garage attached to the house.in 1838 a settler family arrived in westbury and built egmont. There is a fully equipped kitchen, dining and sitting rooms and two bathrooms. The ground floor is appointed with one twin and one double room with open fires and the upstairs rooms are both twin rooms. The property overlooks the meander river and majestic great western tiers mountain range.there are two ground floor bedrooms and two attic bedrooms. Westbury is an easy 20-minute drive from launceston (35 kilometres/22 miles).
